What an experience! I have never seen a UFO, but coincidentally, I was just yesterday sharing a memory with a friend, of a cross country drive during one August many years ago. We were driving across Nevada at night and were bedazzled by the Perseids, something I had never witnessed in all my years in central NYS. That was the highlight of the whole 6,000 mile round trip!

Hi Seajay :)

Same here. I was so accustomed to light pollution — I could not believe my eyes when I got out to the desert 🤩🤩 I can’t wait to get back out there. Your mention of road trips brings back so many good memories 😊 Thanks so much for reading! 🙏💙 I hope you get to see a UFO one day — it’s a trip!! 🛸

If I but have the sense to look UP once in a while! I lived in northern AZ for 7 years, and you're right, the desert is optimal for star gazing. I miss that about AZ. I hope you get to do more desert trekking before too long. It seems you revel in adventure. 😊

I thought I saw a UFO once hovering a few miles away and slowly changing position, ever so slowly. And then I remembered that the Earth spins and it was just a star moving across the night sky. Wa t to see one though.
