Signs of the Times: Highlights from the "No Kings" Protest
The most iconic protest signs from a historic day of nationwide resistance
Yesterday’s No Kings protest was a historic day—and damn, it felt good to be there.
I haven’t felt proud to be an American since the racist felon was elected, but that changed yesterday.
The energy in the streets was electric—and deeply American. People from all walks of life came together: kind, passionate, joyful. I had meaningful conversations with strangers, shared countless smiles with people passing by, and soaked up the creativity in every sign. It reminded me what real patriotism feels like—and it was tremendous.
And knowing the sad little fascist MAGA parade in D.C. had a pathetic turnout? Just the cherry on top.
The momentum is shifting, and after so much darkness, that spark of hope feels incredible.
I’ve pulled together a collection of some of the most powerful, hilarious, and creative signs from across the country. If you were one of the millions out there, thank you. And if you could only be there in spirit, I hope this snapshot captures the joy, energy, and brilliance we felt out there.
P.S. If you snapped any great pics from your local protest, drop them in the comments. I’d love to see the spirit from your community, and I’m sure others would too. 💙✊📸🇺🇸
